Saudi Arabia is going to organize 'Arab Fashion Week' for the first time. Saudi Arabia is the host country for this fashion event to support textile sector and to support native designers.
Saudi President Naura Bint Faisal has announced to celebrate 'Fashion Week' at a press conference in London on Monday morning. He is also honorary president of the Arab Fashion Council (AFC).
After reading a letter from Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, Noura said that the promotion of creative industry in Saudi Arabia has come to an end. Fashion designers have been working with confidence for several years. Through the fashion week, they will get the opportunity to showcase their artistic works and this will create entertainment opportunities because the General Entertainment Authority thinks. They are proud to be the sponsors of this kind of arrangement.
The Fashion Week organized by 'Arab Fashion Council' will be screened on March 26th in Apex Center in Riyadh. It will continue until March 31.
Not only the Arab countries but also the designers of different countries of the world will be able to participate.
Laila Isa Abujaid, country director of the Arab Fashion Council said that this is just the beginning. We will be hosting world-class fashion week after this Arab Fashion Week ceremony for the first time in Riyadh. This kind of arrangement is not only fashion, but we also believe that other economic sectors of the country such as tourism, travel, and trade will also prosper.
This fashion week is the latest addition to the rule of Islamic rule in Saudi Arabia.
